Shell to Sea have called a Day of Action for Friday 23rd September in Mayo to protest against Shell commencing work on the onshore section of its pipeline. Please make every effort to attend this day of action as we are at a critical time in the project. There will also be a work day on the Rossport Solidarity Camp on Saturday 24th September and a Shell to Sea National Meeting on Sunday 25th.
Dublin Shell to Sea are organising transport to leave Dublin at approx 6pm on Thursday 22nd September from Hugh Lane Gallery on Parnell Sq.
Transport costs: 25 euro employed / 10 euro unemployed.
Please ring or text 086 7362417 to arrange transport by Monday 19th September at the latest. You must let us know
- When you wish to travel back (Friday or Sunday)
- Whether you will be paying the €25 or €10.
Those who contact us after this date cannot be guaranteed transport. Please note that cost should not deter anyone from travelling. Just let us know if you cannot afford to pay for the ticket.
Dublin Shell to Sea are urging supporters to travel to Mayo in solidarity at this critical time.
Please email this announcement to your friends now, put it on your facebook to help spread the word as much as possible! We have very little time to organise this day and want to make it as successful as possible!
